Experts in AI warn the new technology poses a threat to humanity | 7.30
The way forward for humanity is in danger. That is the message from the world’s high consultants in Synthetic Intelligence, who launched the next assertion in a single day: “Mitigating the danger of extinction from AI needs to be a world precedence alongside different societal-scale dangers reminiscent of pandemics and nuclear warfare.”
It comes after final month’s plea from a whole bunch of leaders within the discipline, calling for a pause within the expertise’s growth to permit time for governments to catch up.
